Welcome to Select Childcare. Based in our home, a bungalow on the eastern edge of Exeter, we provide exceptional child care in a home from home environment. We are surrounded by countryside, on a private road with hardly any passing traffic, yet handy for Exeter, the Met Office and motorway junction 29.
As parents and grandparents ourselves, we are fully aware of the need many parents have to find the best possible care for their children and also the difficulty many parents have in doing so. As a husband and wife team working from our home, we wanted to help other parents by providing the best possible care we can. We are a family centred, family run nursery and believe that children should be encouraged to explore, learn and develop in a safe and caring home from home environment. We are both accredited to the highest Early Years Professional Services Standard and have recently been awarded an ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted for every element of our setting.

Our philosophy is based upon the Montessori teaching methods and ensures that our children maximise their play and learning using the natural environment.
